1st Quarter 2018 Report
The real estate market has shown very positive signs of growth since the beginning of the year. We have seen a surge in luxury single family sales and a large number of prime land sales around the resort area over $1,000,000. Sun Valley Real Estate/Christie’s represented buyers and/or sellers in 9 of the 28 transactions over $1M in the first quarter. There is still a good selection of inventory across the region affording exciting opportunities to purchase property in the Wood River Valley. We are eagerly anticipating a busy summer selling season!

Take A Break from Spring Skiing
Just a little over an hour south of Sun Valley you will find one of Idaho’s spectacular attractions. Sometimes called the “Niagara of the West,” Shoshone Falls is 212 feet high—45 feet higher than Niagara Falls. This is THE best time of year to see the falls at their peak. Come early summer the flow will be greatly reduced as water from the Snake River will be diverted to irrigate some 2 million acres of farm and ranch lands in Southern Idaho.
