It’s Snowing Now, But When It Doesn’t…
You may have noted, the skiing has been fabulous on Baldy all winter. That’s because Sun Valley has the best snowmaking in the world. The resort’s army of 578 automatic snow guns run along 38 miles of steel pipe. Sun Valley can cover about a third of the 2,100 acres of skiable terrain or 645 acres. Don’t forget the excellent grooming! Sun Valley has the Rolls Royce of groomers, Prinoth Leitwolfs, acquired in 2015 which run on low-emission, energy-efficient engines.
